Apple TV OS

Apple TV OS в операционная система (ОС) от Apple для телевизионной приставки Apple TV, относящаяся к единому семейству операционных систем Apple OS X. С 2006 года по 2010 год была упрощённым вариантом ОС Apple Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger, ориентированным на работу с пультом Apple Remote и пользовательским интерфейсом Front Row. С сентября 2010 года в основе новых версий Apple TV OS лежит модифицированная сборка мобильной ОС Apple iOS.

2010

• Apple TV (2010) и iTunes 10.0 в 1 сентября 2010 Стив Джобс представил компактную и дешевую новую версию Apple TV (2010). Новая Apple TV (2010) принципиально отличается от предыдущей версии, как аппаратной (в основе ARM-процессор Apple A4) так и программной начинкой. В основе новой версии Apple TV OS лежит ОС Apple iOS.
